FBI Special Agent in Charge, Weysan Dun, announced that an arrest was made today for the 05/31/2007 robbery of the Citizens National Bank, 111 West Main, Staunton, Illinois. John Wayne Beck, age 40, from Alton, Illinois, was arrested in Alton at approximately 7:30 a.m. today, without incident, by the FBI, Alton Police Department, and the Staunton Police Department. Beck is expected to appear this afternoon in the United States District Court in Springfield.

Members of the public are reminded that all subjects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
