KIDNAPING INVESTIGATION NETS TWO ADDITIONAL ARRESTS

Two additional arrests have been made in the kidnaping investigation of LaBamba Restaurant owner Antonio Aguas. Rafael Orlando Villalobos-Beltran, aka Orlando Villalobos, age 25, from Charleston, Illinois, was arrested Thursday, June 28, 2007, in Charleston. Arturo Castro Estrada, age 36, from Hillsboro, Illinois was arrested Thursday, June 28, 2007, in Champaign, Illinois. Both men were arrested without incident, after further investigation into the September, 2006 kidnaping of Aguas, from the parking lot of a LaBamba restaurant in Champaign, Illinois.

Francisco Antonio Villalobos and Terence Merritt were previously arrested, convicted and sentenced to prison for the kidnaping. Orlando Villalobos and Estrada were arrested for Aiding and Abetting Francisco Villalobos and Merritt in the kidnaping. Numerous law enforcement agencies participated in the investigation, including the Champaign Police Department.

All subjects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
