FBI Special Agent in Charge, Weysan Dun, Springfield Division, announced that the Associated Bank, 326 Missouri Avenue, East Saint Louis, Illinois, was robbed today.  At approximately 3:39 p.m., a lone black male entered the bank and passed a note to a bank teller, announcing the robbery.  After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the subject fled the bank on foot.  The subject is more fully described as follows:

            Race:               Black
            Sex:                 Male
            Age:                 Approximately mid 20’s
            Height:             5’08”
            Weight:            150#
            Clothing:           Long denim shorts, white t-shirt, black sneakers.
