FBI Special Agent in Charge, Weysan Dun, Springfield Division, announced that U S Bank, 501 Beltline, Collinsville, Illinois, was robbed on 11/09/2006, at approximately 4:15 p.m., by a lone male, armed with a weapon. A swift response by the Collinsville Police Department resulted in the arrest of Conrad Williams, age 32, in a nearby wooded area, shortly after the robbery. A federal criminal complaint was filed on 11/10/2006 in the United States District Court, East St. Louis, Illinois, charging Williams with Bank Robbery. Williams, from St. Louis, Missouri, is expected to appear in court later today.

Members of the public are reminded that a criminal complaint is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
