Peoria, Ill. – Tomorrow morning, June 27, 2008, the U.S. Attorney for the Central District of Illinois, Rodger A. Heaton, Peoria Police Chief Steve Settingsgaard and FBI Special Agent Marshall Stone will be available for comment in Peoria regarding sentencing of a child sex offender.

Sentencing for defendant Justin A. Rosenbohm is scheduled to begin tomorrow, June 27, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. before U.S. District Judge Michael M. Mihm at the federal courthouse located at 100 N. E. Monroe Street, Peoria. This hearing is estimated to run approximately 45 minutes to one hour.

Under provisions of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006, Rosenbohm faces up to life imprisonment for the offense of sexual exploitation of children / production of child pornography. U.S. Attorney Heaton, Police Chief Settingsgaard and Special Agent Stone will be available to news media shortly after the hearing outside the front door of federal courthouse, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, the briefing will be held inside the federal courthouse.
